NCAA: Sorsby's college career should end for gambling on own team

Brendan Sorsby placed at least 40 bets involving Indiana football while a Hoosiers quarterback and continued to gamble after transferring from Cincinnati to Texas Tech, according to court documents.

The NCAA says it would become the first major American sports league to allow an athlete who bet on their own games to continue to compete if a district court were to grant Texas Tech's Brendan Sorsby an injunction allowing him to play this season.
